Editing recurring subtypes

Hi,

I need to add a subtype one recurring gift created Nov-22, this was data transferred from our old system, unsure if that matters.

Anyhow, I can't find the Gift Subtype field in WebView under the recurring gift/schedule to update and I also can’t update in DataView as the field is greyed out.

Found this link to update via Global but I’m getting an error, can anyone help with how (anyway) that I can update the subtype on the recurring gift that has a schedule attached.

• I know I could delete it and all the payments attached then re-enter but am trying to avoid this as there are many records.

@Tasha Mikoz You may have to do an adjustment to the pay-cash gifts to edit the subtype. Not sure why it won't let you edit the main recurring gift since mine are all editable, but they are NXT gifts.

Is there a reason you need to change it for the main recurring gift instead of the payments? Usually those are excluded from reporting since they are just the source entry for the payments.

@Lee Grisham thanks for your input on this one. I have further information to share. I was able to edit this by editing the existing amendment on the recurring gift, I diddn't realise that once these are edited the few fields that I was after become locked.
