Available Insights

does anyone know where there is an index of available insights for custom dashboards and what they are able to do?

For example I am trying to create a dashboard that tracks age of donors over several years, but it does not appear that I can do this on one dashboard as you can only set one date range (that I can see)

But there are other things I'm trying to figure out and I thought at least knowing what might be available and their parameters would be a place to start.

I think I might have stumbled across what I'm looking for but if anyone else has any suggestions that would be great!
