Automatically updating status

Hi community! I've been interested in implementing a new process where a prospect's status (or stage in the gift cycle) is updated automatically based on actions taken by fundraisers. For example, if the prospect is in cultivation but then the fundraiser adds an open opportunity, their status would be automatically changed to solicitation. I know other orgs do this, but I don't think it's possible in Raiser's Edge. Can anyone confirm whether that's possible?

    This functionality is not natively available in RE. You would need to use PowerAutomate to enable this type of workflow. That is easier said then done though. While it isn't terribly complicated, it may not be very sustainable for your organization.
