Missing = 0

Some new teachers on our campus that have used Blackbaud in the past say that when you mark an assignment as “missing”, it automatically puts a 0 in the gradebook. That's not happening in our gradebook. Does anybody know how to set that up?

    Hi @Julie Berry -

    Right now, when an assignment is marked as Missing, it will not automatically count as a 0. That is a great feature enhancement that we could make into an optional setting for teachers, however. I encourage you to log that into our Idea Portal so we can consider it during our future projects.

    I will note that we did add a preference for automatically removing the Missing indicator when a grade other than 0 is committed for a student. Teachers can find this by going to My Day > Assignment Center > List view > Preferences > Evaluation.
