Changing how the description shows up in Journal Entry

in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: General Discussions

Hi there, can i change the description that shows in Journal Entry in FE NXT? When it posts over from RE, it shows up simply with “Raiser's Edge - DATE” and that isnt super useful. Can i adjust it so that it shows the RE batch number in that field? Thank you!

    @Chris Cerillo, most of the subledger posting information is managed inside of FENXT under General Ledger > Settings > Posting Information. However, for the posting information from RENXT to FENXT, that's managed inside of RENXT database view > Configuration > General Ledger > General.

    @Nikki Baldwin thanks Nikki, that is helpful for inside of the batch that posts over, but i am talking about the format of this, where it says RE and then the date.

    @Chris Cerillo, ah, thanks for clarifying that. Little out of my depth of RENXT knowledge and didn't see if we could edit this from the Knowledgebase article on the topic. So I'm going to move this over to the RENXT Community to see if someone knows for sure if that's an option or not.
