Solicitor overall goal

Is there anyway to add an annual goal for a solictor? I see that we can add goals for a campaign, a fund, an appeal, and unspecified. But is there a way to see the total annual goal for the solictor which would include giving to any fund or appeal? TIA

@Christine Robertson thanks for getting back to me so quickly. My team haven't used this feature yet and I'm hoping it will be useful. But does this mean that it only calculates the donations that have an unspecified goal or fund or appeal? Or that the goal is unspecified? This is where I got confused.

Also, do you know if you can you backdate the goal? So for example I'm inputting the goal now but I'd like it to include all donations this fiscal year.

@Amy Ghaboush I just tested it in my sandbox. You can add a goal as unspecified and it will look at all gifts that the solicitor is linked to in RE.

I've used this same model in the past and it works well. I'm just replying to reiterate that the solicitor must be attached to the GIFT in order for this to work. When I've worked with clients in the past, this tends to be an area of confusion.

Some can be added as the solicitor for a gift and NOT as a solicitor on the Relationship, which I believe we needed to use in some soft crediting situations. It works well, but like everything data-related, does need to be reviewed somewhat regularly.

@Christine Robertson Can you elaborate on how you use this? If they have a FY goal, how do you associate that goal to a FY? Is there good canned reports to report out where they are to goal? I don't think solicitor goals are available in Insights, right?

@Kisha Baker Usually, I would use the Campaign for the FY goal, but that would mean that you have those setup to work for that purpose.
