Textbook Management

The last feed I could find is from 2021 - Is anyone using Edtech for their Textbook management. They sync with Blackbaud. Is there another Textbook management system k-12 schools are using?

Hey Kathy,

They are one of the options our school looked into but we were not impressed with the technology they were using. The customer service did seem solid though. We ultimately went with a smaller company called JC Learning and have been pleased with both the customer service and the attention they pay to developing their product. They synch rosters from Blackbaud and are able to present ebooks to students in a digital bookshelf. The students don't have to make account themselves. They have also been prompt and communicative when shipping hard copies.

We use them and the integration through the resource board is pretty seamless and works great. The students have Google accounts so once they login to Blackbaud they click the link in the resource board and it goes right to their bookshelf without an extra login.

Now the bad news…

EdTech's support is okay. They don't always respond to students from what I understand. Also they were hit with a massive data breach this year where just about every credit card in their system was stolen and every kid's email got hit with a ton of spam.
