Education Records in RENXT

Hi,

We noticed the addition of editing education records on NXT but with this have noticed that some users (most importantly our alumni team) don't seem to have the education tile anymore on their NXT. We've also noticed some people can still see it but not edit while others can see and edit.

We couldn't find where to review these settings in case it was an issue with permissions, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

@Stefan Riddock - Welcome to BB Community Forums! Most of web view permissions are set within DBV > Admin > Security. I recommend checking there first to see what permissions are set for the teams that need to see this information vs those that don't. If you make any changes, those users will need to completely logout and then back in for the changes to take effect.

If this doesn't solve your issue, I recommend reaching out to support if you haven't already.

Hi Stefan, we also have some team members who are missing the education record tile in NXT. These used to be visible to them and we had nothing changed. We reached out to support and are yet to see the resolution. Please let me know if you find how to fix it.

I do not see any user role setting for this under NXT. SO the only thing I can think is to doublecheck your database view security settings. Are all of the below enabled?

@Christine Robertson @Dalton Funkhouser - Hi both I am just back from a festive break. Looks like it is now working for us. It may have just been an issue on BlackBaud's end with the new changes. Everyone can now view and edit

We have the same problem - all non admin users have lost the ability to edit the education records on the Education tile in web view. They had this functionality initially when the enhancement was first rolled out, but now they don't. They have permissions set within Security in DB View to add and edit education records so I don't know why they no longer can add or edit education records in web view. I contacted support and they said to submit it to the idea bank, which was no help at all.
