Hi, when getting gifts via API is it possible to get everything even the givings that are not flagged as gifts?

when summing all the gifts retrieved via API the amount doesn't match the lifetime giving's.

@Koketso Mamabolo I think you need to explain what you mean by givings not flagged as gifts.

Are you pulling in soft credits into your lifetime giving totals? There's reasons why those values are not reconciling. But you should have all the information to determine what is and isn't being pulled in my simply looking at the reports.

If you are referencing the “lifetime giving" in RE NXT webview's constituent page, you have to factor in soft credit. Gift List API returns gift by direct credit only (if you go by the constituent record id returned). You will also have to take into consideration of your RE NXT setting on what is consider Received revenue vs. Committed revenue (gift type).

You will not be able to “recreate” lifetime giving in the way Blackbaud calculates it using Gift List API, as there is no way to get soft credit gift in this manner. You will either need to download ALL gift list including gift soft credit details and then do the calculation with all the data, OR use Query API and work on the query option for soft credit.
