Reporting & Analysis in RE NXT

Hello all!
I hope all is well. Question for those that use RE NXT reporting and analytics (not including Insight Designer).

The totals in RE NXT Overview Reporting don't match the giving numbers in RE 7 reporting (Gift Detail & Summary Report). When set on "received" it doesn't equal the cash portion on the Gift Detail Summary Report. Wondering if it has to do with the settings in RE NXT for "Received Commitments" including "pledge payments", where the RE 7 report is NOT including "pledge payments".

I attempted to remove the pledge payment option for RE NXT under giving analysis, but the numbers didn't change. Does it take 2 hour for the system to recognize the change? Or is it based on how Blackbaud has set up the Received Commitments, where it will include pledge payments in the totals? Trying to incorporate using the dashboards in 2025. Any advise or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

@Lanetta Gilder you are definitely on the right track with comparing gift types. Make sure you know what is being included in “received revenue” and “committed revenue” in webview, which are settings you can configure. Also check your database view report for soft credits, and if it is using Gift Date or GL Post Date.

Yes, unfortunately there can be a 2-3 hour delay in reporting. This article shows what appears to be the most recent communication about these delays.
