PDF Giving Statements - not kept in queue?

Hi all,

I'm trying out the functionality of giving statements, a common refrain here on the forums. My question is how long I should expect the prepared PDF statements to stay in the queue? The way they're organized led be to believe they'd be there for a while, but the ones I've made have disappeared after about two week. And since I don't have a static query from the list I used to create batch statements, I can't see who I made them for (and the download folder with over 900 pdfs is not a particularly organized way to review them). Rather unfortunate, so any hints on what to expect from these? Or maybe an admin setting that can be changed to keep them from being removed?
