RENXT Modules & 3rd Party Apps Recommendations

We are a university using RENXT, up for renewal, and want to explore what modules and 3rd party apps other NPO’s are using, that we don’t currently use, but may want to add.

We currently subscribe to the Complete Package and use EFT’s, Event Module, Tribute Module, Volunteer Module, Just Giving, Online Express and some analytical tools such as address/email and phone finder. We get, don’t use and will also look into the RE:Search module and planned gift tracker.

Text-to-Give is one thing we may look into, but would appreciate any feedback about other modules you have used successfully and would recommend. We also just learned about and requested a system health check which is apparently a complimentary service.

@Julie Salzman welcome to Community! Do you all have the Alumni module? Being a university I think that would be quite helpful in tracking classes and such. Also, I have not used them but a few years ago did do a demo with almabase, whose purpose is to help grow your alumni base.

At my old org our Director of Development had used Givebutter for a campaign with the alumnae and they have a text to give option. I've heard Givebutter is easy to use but I have not experienced it. My current org is in the process of migrating to Classy and will be using Classy Live for some events. They have a text to donate option there. Again, I have not utilized it but I know it's there.

Hope this helps. I'm sure others will have some more helpful information. I just do not have a lot of experience in those realms outside of using the alumni module at my old org.
