constituent geocode? or other way to populate the "county" field for constituents

Hi all, We would like to populate the “county” field for our constituents without (of course) having to do it manually for thousands of records. I know it is easy to access a mapview in RE webview for constituent lists, so there has to be some “geocode” field that the database is using to put those dots on the map. Is that geocode a field that is accessible by users? Or do folks have a better idea for how we can populate the County field for our constituents? Thanks for your help.

@Katie Beilfuss Welcome to the BB Community forums. Don't know about the geo code but am wondering if that field could be updated if you are running addresses through Address Accelerator or AddressFinder. If you have any of those services, I would check there.

RE NXT does not directly have the county info for you. mapping doesn't really need county code, there are services out there that will take address, city, state, zip that can be plotted into a map service (lat, lon can do that too).

If you want county data, you there are services out that that you can employ to get that data, and then import back into RE, nothing automatic, unless you use API to code the automation yourselves.
