Create/Edit Event Seating Groups in NXT?

Is there a way to create and/or edit/add registrants to a seating group on Events tab of NXT? This is a very cumbersome process in database view and I was hoping NXT made it a little easier. Any assistance or tips greatly appreciated!

RE NXT webview does not have the functionality to do anything related to seating yet.

So you will have to do it in database view, the cumbersome process you are talking about, can you elaborate what your process is?

@Allison Hoferer as a workaround in NXT, we have used the Participant Options to create an option for Table Seating. As we register people to the event, we assign a table name and are able to quickly see number of people at tables, etc.

if you use seating module, Participant Option is going to make you do a lot more work, since Participant Option does not show in database view, so you are not able to “group” participant in seating module and seat them into tables.

@Allison Hoferer - Welcome to BB Community! There is a partner that has an app to assist with seating for web view. There is a fee associated with this, but it integrates with NXT.
