RENXT batches?

We are a small organization but have about 80 employees who do bi-weekly payroll deductions for donating to our foundation as part of the employee giving campaign. The person in this role before me set up a batch in database view that could be changed every other week as needed, adding a new employee or deleting a termed one or deleting the line for ones that didn't get a paycheck that week, therefore no payroll deduction took place. The box was checked to
“automatically apply gifts to pledges and recurring gifts", then validated. When selecting the green exclamation point to commit the batch, under the recurring batch tab, the gift date and post date were updated to the new pay date and the batch was committed. Is there a way to set up a batch like this in NXT that can be used over and over again without having to re-enter the batch twice a month? I'm trying to anticipate what the process will be when database view goes away.

At this moment, webview gift batch is not going to do what the dbview can do

coming this year, Blackbaud will come out with webview gift batch enhancement such that it will have most if not all the gift batching funcionalities of dbview.
