Fund Performance Insight Customization - sub totaling by Fund Type

Hi all. I'm wondering if there is a way to customize the Fund Performance Insight to include a subtotaling by a field we are hoping to use - specifically fund type. I envision this to look something like this:

Fund description 1 Amount
Fund description 2 Amount
Fund description 3 Amount
Fund Type 1 Subtotal of above

Fund description 4 Amount
Fund description 5 Amount
Fund description 6 Amount
Fund Type 2 Subtotal of above

Total all of subtotals or amounts

Is this possible? It's the subtotaling part I'm hung up on…
