Pros/Cons for Importacular

Currently using Importomatic but high price is causing us to explore other options like Importacular. Importacular's functionality seems similar. Our main imports are new grads, gifts (Batch). Anyone have any concerns with Importacular they would like to share?

No concerns at all. We use them primarily for gift processing from 3rd party platforms and I love it.

@Travis Scoby we use Importacular for grad imports and it works really well. I haven't used Importomatic, so I'm not aware of the differences, but we have no issues with it.

@Kisha Baker it is a web based application. It is accessed in the plug ins in RE database view and I believe depending on your needs there are options to pay more to get more, but it is free in its basic form. We are just using the free version so far.

@Taisha Elliott and all – reminder that Omatic's cloud solution is completely web-based and no longer tethered to RE database view via plug-ins. With RE database view and its plug-ins being retired and sunset sometime soon, Omatic clients are ‘future-proofing’ by taking advantage of the total cloud solution that is not dependent on RE database view.

It is also low cost and has, for modern systems, a ‘set and forget’ mode, so you don't have to do anything, it just works away in the background, syncing data for you.
