Shadow Day Visit Feedback Form

Does anyone use any type of automated process to collect candidate shadow day visit feedback from your teachers? Currently we use google forms, but I would really like to find a solution from the system to automate this process or if there a way to collect multiple feedback for one candidate internally.

    Not yet, but it's my understanding they are working on it. It was mentioned in a product update briefing a while ago as something they were starting, but the time frame was vague. We use google docs right now too and I remember thinking it would be nice since we wanted that functionality too. They were looking at making it similar to the external recommendation but I figure there will be some differences.

    Thank you. I've been waiting for them to launch that feature also. I provided some feedback when they were evaluating this process, but no updates on ETA on where they are at with this form. I hope they launch something soon. It's ridiculous that we don't have any option to send something via checklist to collect shadow visit feedback or interviews feedback.

  • @Kelsey Huijgen any updates on this? I was trying to make a Recommendation Form work but it's not as easy as I thought it might be.

  • After a shadow day we survey our student ambassadors or teachers with separate Cognito forms we created. works well for us.

  • We use Committee Review, but it is not easy and has some quirks. It would be great to have a standard form that doesn't require multiple steps to assign.

  • One thing I'm working on right now is to work in Microsoft forms. IF I can get this to work I will send you step-by-step instructions with pictures :)

    1,. Create the Microsoft form (For automation)
    2. Create a Power Automate Flow (To instigate action)
    3. You Can use SKY API to then Update any fields from the form into BB (GET Constituent and PATCH the field you want to update)
    4. Match Logic in your Power Automate so that IF the identifying constituent feature lines up, it gets entered. IF it does not, then you can have it sent to an admin to alert them of the submission
