Is there any better way to search a SKU?

We normally can search for an item by using the last four digits with an asterisk “ *1234 ” but now that we have so many SKUs and too many results come up . We cut the price sticker to have the last 4 digits on small items that cant have a full sticker. Is there any other things that can be searched using an asterisk?

    @Giftshop Three What has really made a difference for us, is putting the barcode from the package and some descriptors in Barcodes and Alternative Lookups in Altru. Then, you can scan the barcode directly from the package, or search by item name. We put small price stickers on. It saves a lot in labels as well. To get to that spot, view the merchandise item and select Edit. You can add the barcode number under Value.
