Adding appeal code to donation form

I should learn by now to never contact BB support because I will never get an answer. They ALWAYS say they need to consult with someone and get back to me. Which brings me here.

I added an appeal code under tables > appeal category > new entry and added the new appeal code. My boss is unable to see that code as a selection when she's in donation form designer. She clicks show all and the code is not there. Any idea why?

@Jolynn Uyehara I'm guessing what you want is the appeal name, not appeal category. Appeal category is not where you need to add the appeal. That is a data point on each appeal. You can add an new appeal in database Records > Appeal > New Appeal or with the rights you should have as admin on any gift record key in the appeal name and you have option to add it as new appeal. I do thru records so I can add category/dates/notes.

It may take a bit of time for appeal to be available for the donation form too. Not always instantaneous.

@JoAnn Strommen Thank you JoAnn! I did another google search in the meantime and it did tell me to set it up through records > appeals. I did it in the database view as I could not find that option in webview. Asked my boss to try it again so hopefully it worked!
