New BBIS Features Released!

Alongside of CRM, BBIS has released new features as part of 4.0 Service Pack 12. It is now available on the downloads page of blackbaud.com. 

 
Service Pack 12 includes 3 value-adding features for BBIS.  

 
BBIS Highlights
1. Event Registration Form – Our new event registration form, initially released in SP11, now includes the option to allow organizations to register for events. This customer-generated idea was voted for 53 times in our Ideas Portal and is a common scenario for enterprise customer events where organizations will often be the host and payer for attendees.



2. Event Batch Process – We also added a new feature to the event registration batch process to allow customers to optionally push constituent updates and additional donations into alternate batch types. If your organization has different teams that handle different transaction or data types, this feature is for you!  If you enable these options, once your constituents have been matched in the event registration batch and the batch has been committed, a profile update batch will be automatically created to include any profile updates for matched constituents, and an enhanced revenue batch will be created to include any additional donation revenue.


























3. Mini Donation Form – Finally, we are releasing an exciting new part called a Mini Donation Form in a Beta release. This form is intended to capture quick donations, and is the first BBIS part to use the Blackbaud Secure Payments Checkout experience. Checkout will provide a superior donor experience while still utilizing a Blackbaud hosted page to collect payment information even if you host your own BBIS site.This part also includes a new way of handling transactions that will further safeguard donor data and creates the foundation for a new full-featured donation form scheduled to be released later this year. Eventually, the Checkout overlay payment experience will also give customers who use Blackbaud Merchant Services additional wallet features of Apple Pay and Visa Checkout.
