BBIS Q2 Spotlight Preview

It's hard to believe it's June already, and it's already time for the Q2 BBIS Spotlight!  This quarter's spotlight will include some fantastic content from some guest Blackbaud speakers that many of you have worked with on BBIS, so join us on Tuesday, June 13th @ 2 PM EDT to learn more about the following:

SP13 Preview

I'll be demonstrating our upcoming features to be released later this month in SP13, including:

• An update of the TinyMCE / WYSIWYG editor in BBIS Email Templates & Messages. This update within our email functional area will bring you many advantages when you are building or copying in code to build responsive emails!
• A few useful usability tools for developer to save clicks and time when working on stylesheets, unformatted text parts and custom content parts.
• New functionality in the directory to allow anonymous users to send messages.

Permanent Email Deletion

Our very own Issac Story from Customer Support will be reviewing and demoing the Delete Email Permanently feature introduced in SP5 and updated in SP9. We will cover what this feature does, why it is important and how to utilize it.

And if that isn't already great enough to join, Matt Cira, a Web Developer from the Blackbaud Professional Services team, will dive into the email and web design worlds on the following topics:

How To Improve Your Email Open Rates with Content Abstracts

In addition to optimizing your email templates with responsive design, it is a recommended best practice to provide a content-specific abstract as the first piece of content in the email.

Designing an Inclusive User Experience

Inclusive Design is a commitment to content, insuring that all users receive the same amazing experience on your web site. How and when do we consider inclusive factors in a site's design workflow?  Matt will review best practices in fitting this into your BBIS design project.
