Important Update: Planned Outages for Legacy REST APIs in Blackbaud CRM

Blackbaud ended support for legacy REST APIs for Blackbaud CRM in June 2025. Starting in July 2025, these legacy REST APIs will be disabled at scheduled times to highlight any impact to your processes, before being permanently disabled.If you have been using the legacy REST APIs within the past two years, you should have received an email from Blackbaud explaining how to migrate from these legacy APIs before the end of June 2025.



Blackbaud has been monitoring activity, and we are still seeing significant usage. Therefore, to assist customers in identifying customizations and integrations still using the legacy REST APIs, Blackbaud will trigger a series of brown-out dates. During these periods, access to legacy REST APIs will not be possible. All times are in EDT.

• Monday July 21, 2025 from 10am through to Wednesday July 23, 2025 at 5pm
• Monday August 4, 2025 from 10am through to Friday August 8, 2025 at 5pm
• Friday August 15, 2025 from 5pm through to Friday August 22, 2025 at 5pm

All access to legacy REST APIs for Blackbaud CRM will be permanently removed on Friday, August 29 at 10am.



Transitioning your existing REST API code to SKY APIs doesn’t require a full rewrite — only a revision as outlined in this example Key Considerations for migrating Blackbaud CRM REST API integrations to Blackbaud SKY API.
