What's New In Altru 5.28

Altru upgrades are starting soon. This release includes several highly-requested new features, including the ability to apply appeals to donations made through online sales! You'll also see enhancements to unresolved online sales orders, clearer password requirements on web forms, and an important API authentication update.

Apply Appeals to Online Donations

To better track your solicitation efforts, you can now apply appeals to donations made through online sales! Set appeals at the donation form level, create custom URLs to use in digital marketing efforts, or manually add appeals to existing online donations.

Enhancements to Unresolved Online Sales Orders

To help prevent unresolved orders that occur because of failed payments, the checkout form now warns users if they attempt to leave the page while a payment is in progress. Also, you can sign up for email alerts to receive notice when unresolved orders occur.

View Password Requirements on Web Forms

To make it easier for web form users to create or reset their passwords, web forms now display password requirements. Previously, forms only displayed requirements after a user entered an invalid password.

API Authentication Updates

For those of you who use custom apps and integrations, the release includes an important security update which requires all API requests to specify an Altru database name.
