SMS Consent Categroy on Donation Forms?

Hi Everyone

We have recently created new consent code and solicit code mapping to gather consent for using SMS/Instant messaging. We can add them to the records manually but it is not appearing as an option on the Standard Donation Forms, just email,phone and mail. How do we get the new SMS consent to appear on them?

I agree - it should! Visit the RE NXT Idea Bank and make sure this is represented, if not add the idea. Whether you find an idea or you add an idea you want to share, you can do so by right clicking on the listing in the main menu and selecting "copy link address" — paste the result here so we can show support through voting.

Still couldn't see the SMS option until I tried to create a brand new form and they appeared. Went back to my existing form and still couldn't see the SMS channel. Figured out what you have to do is delete the consent field from the form and re-add it then the SMS channel is there.

One for the devs as that is very confusing, it should auto-update on the existing forms.

When setting up consent in Config > Business Rules > Consent Options (in DBV) make sure you are listing a category along with the channel. Recommend setting it up like this:

Once you select to include consent options on the form and click to edit them. You can choose what channels and 'sub'-categories appear on the form…
