Major Issue with Report Card Comment Entry

My email started blowing up this morning - happy Sunday. We have interim grades and comments going out to parents on Friday. Here is how we have our report cards built:

Every class has 2 comment boxes for every report card.

Comment box 1 is for the "classnote" - a brief summary of what has been covered in class to date. This comment is the same for every student and is typically entered in bulk by faculty.

Comment box 2 is for the individual student comment.

I set this up in this manner so if a faculty member needs to make a correction in a classnote, they do not need to touch every single student to make the correction.

The classnote portion of comment entry seems to be working fine; however we are having problems across divisions with the individual comment. A teacher enters a comment for Student A in the grid view of the grade entry screen. Switches to the line view of grade entry and the individual comment has been copied to 4 other random students in the class. Go back to the grid view, change one of the random students' comment to what you want, and the comment is not updated in the line view, it remains Student A's comment, but the report card shows the comment entered in the grid view. Delete the individual comment for the random student in the line view,and it deletes the new comment you just entered in the grid view. Go back to the line view, and Student A's individual comment is there again. ABSOLUTELY BIZARRE.

This is obviously a system issue, and I have opened a ticket via the "I am experiencing errors or performance degradation affecting my ability to work" heading as we need this fixed fast.

I wanted to put this out there for people to check if their report cards are functioning as designed for those of us who report "estimated" or "interim" grades mid-quarter.
