RENXT Donation Forms vs. OLX Donation Forms
Hello, I am wondering if your org switched from OLX to the new donation forms? Did you donors cover the associated fees? What concerns you have experienced as gifts are posted to the database.

We switched last year from OLX to the webview donation forms. Best decision EVER!
We give our donors the option of covering fees and about 90% do so. I can create a donor card and map multiple URLs to it so we can track the success of different parts of a campaign in real time.
I turned off the automatic mapping to constituents as NXT was creating too many duplicate constituents so I use Review and Map constituents and it is the closest thing to the OLX import of gifts. Another huge advantage is that it automatically processes debit cards! One less thing to have on your list when processing gifts.

Donors often cover the fees. I'm not a fan of the Blackbaud Covers as we had a lot of complaints from our donors that they thought the amount Blackbaud was suggesting they pay was equivelent to our fees and that was outrageous. Easier to just use the Donor Covers.
We used to use a separate form where we cover the fees as you couldn't use the Donor Cover or the Blackbaud Cover didn't allow for Venmo/Paypal options. It appears this has changed!!!!!! When I get back from bbcon I get to take about 50% of our donation pages off line!0 -
We used a webview form for the first time this year as a test. It's for our annual Home/BMW raffle, which is our biggest annual fundraising campaign. The back-end management of that has been night and day, in a good way. It's streamlined that process for us in a major way. Our regular donation forms on our website are still on OLX, but aside from outlining some new processes for gift entry staff, I think it would ultimately be a smooth and better move in the future.

Agree we had alot of complaints when we used blackbaud covers fees as suggested fee % was so high, we are happy with donor covers fees

We've always covered the fees, so changing over some of our donation forms didn't really make a difference.
The backend of NXT donation forms however is a nightmare for us - it takes SO much longer to process the gifts, and the way it automatically batches the gifts is incredibly annoying. Currently we only have our Appeal funds going through NXT forms, but I'm absolutely dreading the day that DB view is gone. OLX is much faster and user-friendly IMO
