Optimized Giving Form doesn't Allow for Javascript?

As the title states, do Optimized Giving Forms not allow for Javascript? I don't see the option anywhere in the Publish section, only for HTML Button etc.

    No, unfortunately we don't allow JavaScript to be added to Optimized Forms nor Standard forms. This helps us ensure both forms are PCI compliant. There is an Idea here to allow for this so please vote for it and add comments to help us prioritize future features…
