Acces Grade Plans on different dates - Possible?

Happy New Year to everyone 🎉

Our school wants 8th and 12th grade teachers to submit their final grades at the beginning of May, before graduations, while allowing the rest of the school to submit their grades at the end of May.

Grade plans apply to schools and marking periods, these can't be open for particular grade levels. Has anyone found a way to work around a similar situation.

    We do the same thing - there are different due dates for final grades based on several factors (grades for seniors due on one day, grades for some 8th graders due on another; grades for everyone else due on another.)

    We make grade reporting available to everyone at the same time - the starting date required to get grades for seniors submitted on time. Other teachers could theoretically start reporting grades for other students at the same time, but they rarely do.

    It has never been a problem for us.
