Hello! Has anyone's math department used Blackbaud to track skill acquisition in grades/classes? Or how do they interact or use Blackbaud for tracking and sending parent communication/interfacing? I would love to know what is being done!

    Hi, Amber. Our school does use Academics > Grades > Grading Setup > Content-area Skills to identify and track skill acquisition in grades/classes. 'Transferable Skills' are the skills that would be practiced across multiple different classes while the 'Content-area Skills' are the ones typically associated with specific classes. As it related to math, our math classes don't really do anything different than the rest of our classroom teachers. They use the same communication features as everyone else…classroom news notification emails, official notes, and LMS 'messages'.
