Giving Statements

Hi! my organization has encountered a few challenges with stock/property gifts and gift amendments when generating giving Statements in RENXT, and we’re hoping others in the community may have found a solution.

When generating statements from a constituent list, the system allows statements to be produced for donors who have made stock/property gifts. However, when we attempt to generate those same statements individually, NXT does not include the stock/property gifts. Additionally, bulk-generated statements only reflect stock/property gifts that were applied toward a pledge, stock gifts not tied to a pledge do not appear at all.

We’re also seeing an issue with amended gifts. If a donor is soft-credited on a gift that has been amended, the statement displays $0.00 in the “Other Credited Gifts” section. The amendment does not appear on the hard-credited donor’s statement.

Has anyone experienced similar issues with stock/property gifts or amended gifts on Giving Statements? If so, how have you resolved them? Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated.

We have run into the same issue with NXT giving statements and there are lots of posts and ideas in the idea bank to go through on their issues.

The only current solution is to do it outside of NXT and export your data and do a mail merge.

There is NO option in NXT according to that KB article for getting that data into a printable or emailable receipt. It has to be manually created and then populated by the organization as it isn't a feature.
