Can you charge a stored CC in NXT for a new donation?

If there is a credit card stored in NXT on a recurring gift and the donor asks you to charge them for another gift, seperate from this recurring gift and use their "card on file" (similar to how the credit card was stored in Bio 2 in database view - is that something we are able to do, if not, will that be an option in the future?

I don't believe it is possible now. The best way to see if it is planned for the future is to check the Idea Bank. I'm sure someone has requested this and Blackbaud may have indicated that it is open for review or planned. If no one has added this as an idea, definitely do that and explain your use case!
