Security Roles - "View As" option available?

Between all of the options for security roles in database view and the simplified options in web view, I never feel like I know what someone is actually going to be able to see when they login to RE with varying permissions. I generally hop on a call with the person I'm trying to set up access for and we still rarely get to the exact permissions we want in terms of view, edit, etc. Is anyone aware of a good way to easily preview what my colleagues might see? Since I'm an admin, I see everything and it's a big hassle (and still doesn't really work) when I manually change my permissions to test what I want someone else's to be.

There is no clean solution. If I remember correctly, I believe the ability to view what a user sees is coming at some point but not there yet.

That said, the way I handle it is by having a second user account set-up for myself using an different email address. I set the permissions on that account that I want to apply to the user in question and then log in to see what they see. Once I'm happy with what I see and have it dialed in, I then apply the same changes to the user's account in question. Less hassle for the end-user while providing me a level of comfort that I set it up right. Not ideal but it is my work around as the admin.

This isn't possible at present, but there's an idea in the Idea Bank for this very issue: "Enable 'User Impersonation' Capability for Admins in Raiser's Edge"
