Donor Cover Question

Hello! Has anyone has success with a workaround when manually increasing a donor's recurring gift and covering the fees? Since you have to uncheck the fee box when amending a gift amount, I am unsure of another workaround besides terminating and starting a new installment.

Our organization is considering hard coding the donor cover fees if a sustainer gives us their consent. Has anyone done this before? What are the implications? Thank you!

I believe that currently in NXT you are not able to make changes to the amount if the donor has covered the fees. You have to terminate the gift and create a new one.
