Tracking Progress Learning

We are looking for a way to track fall, winter, and spring Progress Monitoring scores across the years for teachers to have access to review. We were hoping to make a "transcript" using Entire Year rather than school levels so that it would track across years and levels. It would only be for these scores. We have 4 school levels, so going by level wouldn't be as helpful. Blackbaud won't allow me to create a course for it in Academics since the grade levels aren't tied to the Entire School level and the courses require grade levels. Has anyone done something similar with a solution that is working for your school?

We don't do anything like this, but I think you should look at using Test Scores. Each student can have multiple entries for the same test, and each test can be created with various sub-scores. The scores can be imported or entered manually. They can be accessed on the student's page in Academics (Performance tab).

They can also be extracted via an Advanced List.

One of the objects in the Advanced List is Candidate User Test. We don't use Enrollment Management, but we can still use the object in the Adv List.

You will need to do a lot of experimenting, but I think it will do what you need.

  • We do use the test scores for things like PSAT, SAT, ACT, etc. and love it, but teachers don't have access there unless they have other roles. We are looking for a way for a teacher to view the whole history of Progress Learning. They already have access to standardized tests and school administrations of the PSAT because we upload those to files and forms and give them access. Unfortunately, Progress Monitoring gives us data but not in a form that would be simple to upload which is why we were wanting to enter it like a grade.
