Parent signature for Learning Profiles?

We create our IEPs outside Blackbaud and use Docusign to have parents sign them. If we started using Learning Profiles, is there a place for parents to sign off on them? I didn’t see this indicated anywhere in documentation so my impression was that there isn’t.

Yes, we do have parent signatures on our Blackbaud Learning Profiles. It was added as a 'field' on the Learning Profile form when we designed it. In the case of older students, we also have a student signature line. When the parent/student in-person meeting with support staff to discuss and review the Learning Profile, it is reviewed with them using a laptop. When they get to the bottom of the form, they turn the laptop over to the parent to sign.

Yes, we created a faculty signature, parent signature, and student signature lines in Learning Fields. We use online signature fields for all of our Blackbaud forms, including our enrollment contract. You are correct that they are typewritten and not Docusigned digital signatures, but I'm not aware that has generated any problems in making the Learning Profile invalid. It would be a great enhancement if Docusign-like functionality were integrated into all Blackbaud forms. :)

Is this just a text box where they enter the name (like a lot of other Blackbaud forms/contracts), or an actual signature? Since we're looking for a Docusign replacement, we'd probably want an actual signature, or something more "official" than just text entry.

Where did you add it, under Learning Fields?
