Radius search in VA includes one record for SD? Anyone else experiencing errors?

Another staff member and I both created new constituent list using 2 criteria. Both getting same error.

My criteria are primary constit code = Alum and mapping radius 65 miles of Blacksburg VA.

Don't expect to pull big numbers but sure don't expect to see a record address of South Dakota in the results.

I have looked at the record - every address on her record and spouse's is SD or MN. I looked at all addresses on relationship tab - all SD or MN.

I've trusted results using the radius search and haven't looked at large lists when they pull. This one was small enough to see that 1 of the 14 records is 1200 miles away. (No city/town of Blackburg in SD).

Anyone else experiencing?

Could it be the zip code for the SD record is incorrect?

@Joe Moretti thanks. that was one of the first things I looked at. None of the addresses on the record or relationships has a zip that does not begin with 55 -MN or 57 - SD.

Did you try address radius as opposed to address mapping. I ran something similar and did not have any issues.

Hmmm. Have not tried different mapping options. We both did radius 65 miles of Blacksburg, VA.

Want to rely on results being accurate so this is concerning. We will manually remove SD alum from the info used. And I guess we will have to monitor more carefully results for these pulls.

One more thing………………..are there any other addresses in the address tab that may be SD? I am not sure in RE NXT if they are looking at all addresses listed by the constituent or just the preferred. You also might want to do a test in Database View using the plugin, RecordRadar to see what it produces.

It should only be pulling off preferred. It doesn't even consider seasonal preferred addresses when doing radius in NXT.

Addresses on her record: Nothing on record for VA.

I am stumped. I pulled a list of VA and had no issue. Could be a aberration for some reason.

@JoAnn Strommen I was intrigued so pulled the same 65 miles of Blacksburg, VA and while I found the fun Fancy Gap, VA as a town I also found a record with an address in Berrien Spring, MI (apparently it is actually Berrien Springs). It was right on the edge of my radius, but not anywhere in the area and also the only address on this particular record.
