How are others handling internal review for things like progress reports?

We currently download submitted progress reports, complete a separate Word review document, add the info, add comments, and then email it to the grantee and upload the review back to the grant record. This results in a lot of duplicate data entry.

I'm interested in learning how others manage similar processes. I've heard of the Review feature you can buy as an add-on, but don't know much about it.

  • Hi @Alayna Ayers I'm checking with my team on this!

  • Hi @Alayna Ayers I did find a little more information on the review feature from my team:

The Reviewer Portal enables organizations to streamline and manage the grant review process by assigning internal and external reviewers, collecting structured feedback, tracking review progress, and supporting funding decisions through configurable review stages. Administrators can assign reviewers, set due dates and visibility windows, and automate reviewer notifications, while reviewers can access assigned applications, submit evaluations, collaborate within the review workflow, and provide recommendations that help determine whether requests advance, require additional review, or are declined. The portal also supports external reviewers by granting secure access through contact records, allowing organizations to incorporate subject matter expertise into the evaluation process while maintaining full control of approval and decision workflows.

I'll have someone from Blackbaud reach out to you to schedule a demo for the Reviewer Portal.

My team also said you can also add these folks as "View Only" BBGM users, which would allow those folks to go into BBGM and look at things directly.

  • @Crystal Bruce a demo for the reviewer portal would be great!
