Hi! I'm updating fundraisers in our DB via NXT and although I am putting an end assignment date, they are still showing up under current. Is there something else I need to do?
In addition to what @Joe Moretti said, if the end date is the current/today's date, it will still show up until the end date is yesterday or before.
The fundraiser type is irrelevant to RENXT. Since that field is configurable by every organization, and not all use a "former" type, this is not something that matters when it comes to showing current and former assignments. However, the purposes of the Export module right now, it is helpful to have a Former version of any fundraiser type. Hard to say if this will change once Export moves into webview, but I always recommend both an end date and a "former" version of the fundraiser type to suit the needs of both views.
Are you changing the solicitor type to former fundraiser or some version of this? Because that needs to be done such as Primary Prospect Manager to Former Primary Prospect Manager.
Yes I was changing to a former fundraiser notation but it was still appearing even with the show current box checked. I honestly now believe it is a timing issue. I just went back and looked at some that I changed last night and now they are not appearing in the constituents record. Just need to learn to be more patient.

that totally makes sense with the date being in the past - thank you for that clarification.
@Karen Diener I figured the "former" notation doesn't really matter as well because I had ended one and forgot to change to former and it was still removed from the show current area.
