Veracross VS RE NXT

Question

Hi, I am interested to know if anyone has used Veracross for School and student data and how can you compare it with RE NXT. I want to know pros and cons of both platforms.  Can we do fundraising from Veracross? Is there an integration between Veracross and RE NNXT if we want to get an event module from Veracorss.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you Karen for your comments.  We would like to get the event module from Veracross and integrate it with RE NXT if possible as there are limitation in RE as far as event management is concerned especially if there are multiple activities in one event, RE does not cover that for registration.  Yes, the plan is to have the entire admission/enrollment etc from Veracross but I am not sure about fundraising as you also commented that it is not as robust as a purpose-build fundraising product.

Also, I am thinking about the other donors in RE who are not parents and students, how does Veracross cover those for fundraising?

If someone else has practical experience with Veracorss, please share your comments.

I am about 98% certain that there is no integration between the two systems.

What, exactly, are you looking for Veracross to do?  Would it be your entire admissions / enrollment / LMS / etc. system, but then integrate parents and students to RENXT?  My guess is that your only option would be a third-party middleware such as Omatic, Importacular, or possibly SMARTSync.

Veracross will say that you can do fundraising from their system, and I'm sure you can.  But it will likely not be as robust as a purpose-built fundraising product.

Sorry I do not have direct experience, but hopefully someone can chime in with actual details!
