I have started using total school and wondering if salutations will sync in the future?
We have a research plan for Addr/Sal info. It is stored very differently between the two systems, so we have to figure out a solution that fits the requirements you all have for them. That is why it wasn't included in the first release. I don't have a time frame for that work, though - too many unanswered questions right now.

Are you referring to the Common Records Engine between Education Management and Raiser's Edge? Or are you recording salutations in a different product/area?
Following this conversation for CRE purposes. During our database cleanup preparing for CRE I tried to update the prefixes and suffixes that were missing periods at the end, but my data upload did not correct them. I was wondering if this was even going to matter when it begins syncing.
Hi - I mean common record engine. We have are formal/informal salutation setup correctly in RE but in education we don't. I would love in the future if they synced between the 2 systems.
@Catherine Druhan, you will likely be able to use the Table Cleanup feature for tables in RE after the records are all linked and synced. That would allow you to combine "Mr" and "Mr." easily, and it will propogate back to education.
Unfortunately, for now that is likely to be a recurring action because "Mr" is likely to be re-added through education.
