Is it possible to import Fund Relationships?

I haven't been able to figure out if it is possible to import scholarship recipients as a fund relationship to the scholarship funds. I attended a BBCon session last year about a way to create a custom field import, and that was really helpful, but now that Fund Relationships are visible in WebView, I would prefer to be able to link the fund to the student constituent record with a relationship import.

Stefanie, it is not yet possible. I have asked about it and have not heard anything. I have also thought about creating a Power Automate Flow to make it happen and I don't think the functionality to write fund relationships is available in the APIs. Definitely something to find in the Idea Bank and vote for!

@Kelly Hogan is correct on both accounts that you cannot import it, nor is it possible through the APIs (PowerAutomate). I will say I feel like there was discussion about this being available within the new import process which is still being developed/maybe in EAP.

In the meantime, I can suggest something like Zeidman Development's Importacular which can do this import. Other products may be able to as well, but this is one I know and have used. @David Zeidman

@Dan Snyder, do you know if that requires a paid subscription? If so, it's super frustrating that a paid product can accomplish something that seems like we "should" be able to do!

It does require a subscription and I hear you that we should be able to do it. I do think it is coming, but I do not have any more information than that which is understandably not helpful.

I would love to say that you could do this in Importacular. (You can do a lot there!). However I don't believe that there are any fund relationship API endpoints available yet. I did take a look now in the obvious places and did not see any references to them. If they exist then we will built it but until that time we are a bit hampered by what is available to us.
