Report for gift amount and fee amount by designation

Question

Is there a report from either BBMS or RENXT that gives gift amount, and fee amount by designation?

All of our month end reports are sorted and reported by designation. I am looking for a way to pull or process a report by designation that lists the gift amount and the fee amount and the type of fee (donor cover, organization cover, BB cover).

I have noticed that the merchant services reports do not include the designation selected on the online giving form. Plus the account holder name in BBMS is not necessarily the same name on the associated record in RENXT (e.g. Marge Simpson vs. Marjorie Bouvier - maiden name). Additionally, I am not finding a common field between BBMS and RENXT to match between a transaction report and query for both ACH and CC transactions.

I have approximately 85 designations to report on every month, more during our busy season. So, any assistance to make this reporting easier would be welcome!

There are manual excel method of pulling multiple reports and line them up using transaction id, which I will not go into.

If you want an automated process, SKY API will handle this. This is something I recently investigated into and SKY API support automating disbursement info added to gift in RE NXT thereby greatly improve bank rec.

I may post more about the process in the near future if/once I get it working.

Unfortunately, BBMS reports don't include the online giving form used. Transaction ID is the common field. Take a look at this discussion:
