Matching Gifts in NXT

Question

Hi all - I need a little help with something. I've figured out how to add matching gift pledges in NXT, but I cannot figure out how to apply a payment to that pledge. Am I missing something? Or is that not yet available?

And I've realized that if I add a matching gift pledge in NXT, then try to apply a payment to it in database view, it applies $0 to the gift no matter what I put in for the gift amount. Is this a bug? Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks for your help!

@Anthony Gallo Just to add a few other things on matching gift pledges since you are already working through a few of the bugs:

When I created matching gift pledges in RE NXT batch earlier this morning (each matching gift pledge was in a different batch and committed separately, so this incident occurred two separate times), the custom fields and letter code I had initially entered when creating the matching gift pledges all disappeared from the MG record once I committed my batches. I also noticed once I saved the matching gift, it did not close the matching gift pledge section, but prompted me to create a new matching gift. It was a bit confusing.

We are working on correcting this issue. The matching gift pledge functionality should follow the same pattern as standard pledges and that is not working as expected currently. We should have this resolved soon.

@Anthony Gallo Just tagging you here as you may best be able to answer this at the moment.
