Blackbaud University Day: Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT® Unsession

Are you ready to take your learning experience to the next level? Look no further than our exciting new session format for Blackbaud University Day: Unsessions! These sessions are all about you—your voice, your questions, and your learning goals. Let’s dive into the details.

What Are Unsessions?

Unsessions are a departure from the traditional workshop format. Instead of a predefined agenda from us, Unsessions empower you to steer the ship. Imagine a collaborative space where you can:

  • Suggest Topics: Want to learn more about a certain functionality or best practice? Got burning questions? Bring them to the table! Unsessions allow you to explore topics that matter most to you.
  • Share Insights: Learn from your peers! Share your experiences, processes, and best practices from your organization. Our skilled instructors will facilitate conversations and supplement discussions with tips, tricks, and demos.
  • Forge Connections: Connect with fellow attendees who share your interests. It’s all about building a network of expertise.

How Can You Get Involved?

  1. Sign up for the Unsession at Blackbaud University Day: If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for Blackbaud University Day, September 23 at bbcon 2024! Registration opens soon.
  2. Shape the Conversation: Add your topic suggestions to the comments below. By participating, you’re shaping the direction of the Unsession.
  3. Vote for Your Favorites: See a topic below from a fellow attendee or instructor that resonates with you? Give it a thumbs-up! The topics with the most votes will take center stage during the Unsession.

Important Note:

This Unsession is all about collaborative learning, but it won’t be eligible for continuing education credits. However, the knowledge you gain and the connections you make are priceless!

So, this is basically a user group? Anything about using new features tips and tricks would be great.

  • @Julianne Holl I think it would be necessary to have all the Unsessions recorded, and transcripts provided? Will the video and transcripts be available for downloading / saving? Thanks.

@Darlene LeVielle this will be a live session at Blackbaud University Day on September 23rd (pre-conference workshops for bbcon) so they will not be recorded. None of our Blackbaud University Day sessions are recorded.

@Julianne Holl Will these be vertical or region specific? Vertical specific helps align data needs, but region specific can help connect people for the long term.

A couple of topics I would suggest based upon my experience in leading local user groups are: functionality differences between web and database view, data clean up considerations, soft credits/hard credits, tips & short cuts in RE, etc.
