Re: New table entries not showing up as options in Custom Field dropdown menu
You are mixing up Tables and Custom Fields, which are different. If you are doing Custom Fields, you need to go to Custom Fields, not Tables.
Re: New table entries not showing up as options in Custom Field dropdown menu
It's easy to get confused between Tables and Custom Fields. Sounds like you created a Table instead of a Custom Fields.
This is my flow when I need a new custom field when I want the value field to be from a Table: Go to Settings / Custom Fields, click to create a new Custom Field. It will ask for Data Type which will be Table. Then for Table Name, click +New and add the Table Name there. That will populate it under Tables, so you can then go into Tables and add whatever drop-down menu items you wish to see in that Table. Hope that helps!

Third party application to create Transcripts
We have been using a very old Crystal Reports instance to create our transcripts out of Blackbaud due to a complex grading system. Does anyone have any recommendations for software/programs that they use that directly access Blackbaud grade data?
Re: PowerUp Challenge: First Email Marketing Task
I'll second what I'm hearing from others, the default colour set up. But really, I just like that it's all contained in one area, so you can go in, do it all, and it's done!

Re: Membership Retention Report
@Laurie Haaland
Hi! I used that same canned report and just stair-stepped each fiscal year, for us 7/1-6/30. It has enough of the details visible that you could pull it into Excel and manipulate it for several years.
Re: Total Annual Visitors
@Anna Blanton Hi Anna - I use a combination of a query and the sales comparison report (for group sales). We used to be able to get most of the information from the sales comparison report, but when we started selling tickets online - they show up on the report as the day they were purchased, not the day they were used plus not everyone shows up who has tickets so the query is for tickets scanned during the particular time period. I calculate attendance every month for our dashboard and then we keep track of cumulative attendance so we know our counts for each month, ytd, each year, and cumulative since we have been open.
Each month, I run the query, and the sales comparison report, and then I check for any events that occurred that will also have to be added. This is the query that I use - I download to a spreadsheet and then pivot table and filter for what I need.

@Theresa Diesch I export the data and then sort with a pivot table to get the exact results that I need. - Tamara
