Re: Merge Constituent
@Ashley Petty I would convert the org to be an individual, and then merge them. I don't believe this is available in web view yet, but in database view, open the org, click on Constituent in the top menu, and there will be an option to convert to an individual. Hope that helps!
Re: Merge Constituent
@Ashley Petty You will just need to change the type of the one that is ‘wrong’ to be the other type. Then you can merge them.
If you want the record to be org, than convert the individual record in db. Open record in db view > Constituent drop down menu > Convert to Org. Then you can merge them in either view.
(I sometimes will take a screenshot of any data that I don't want to lose in case there's a hiccup.)
Re: Forum Thread Sorting
@Lauren Henderson I'd definitely vote for it
I'd prefer the information to be more aligned with how Stack Overflow handles the data, and most forums. It helps me see context more clearly. Even a setting at this point in my personal preferences would be ideal.

Unearned Titles Summary & Response-DRG.pdf@Wade Barren
EDIT: Apologies-mobile attachments don't seem to work well with this. I've uploaded the file as an image and attached it as a PDF. The original can be found on the Donor Relations Group website (previously Donor Relations Guru). This is a treasure trove of resources I highly recommend.
We have chosen to eliminate all unearned titles in our system. We had been considering it and then utilized the following from Lynne Wester's group to really drive the conversation. The infographic is attached

Re: Any best practices recommendations?
@Wade Barren I cannot see an instance where this would need to be required. You could certainly configure your form to display the field so donors could select a value if they want. In either case, make sure that gender-neutral titles are available.
And, as others have already mentioned, you can select an addressee and salutation that works for that donor.
Posting Legacy Requirements to new Portal-no data from BBGM is viewable
I am testing posting Legacy portal requirements to the new portal, but when I post the requirement fields are blank. None of the fields we post from BBGM to the requirement (requirement type/due date/project title/grant amount) are posting to the new portal. How will the grantee know what they are completing a report for? It is basically a blank set of questions not related to any grant. We have numerous grants/requirements to same organization/contact - how will they even know what they are completing the report for. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else experienced this issue?
What Are the Key Benefits of Using Fabric with Power BI?
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently heard about Microsoft Fabric and its integration with Fabric Power BI, and I’m curious about how it actually enhances the Power BI experience.
What are the key benefits of using Fabric with Power BI? Does it improve performance, data management, collaboration, or something else entirely? I'd love to hear from anyone who's started using it—especially in a business or enterprise setting.
Looking forward to your insights
thanks in advance!

Re: Repeating Letter Issues
@Candy Reichert
word merge via mail merge tab is not the same as word template via developer tab in word
you can do if then else condition to determine which image to insert into the template, but you cannot use repeat control for image content control. Meaning, you cannot create ONE template where the signature image used will depend on the donor's fundraiser for multiple letter in ONE document. (ONE file word document where you have 100 letters to 100 donors and having different signature image on each.
Re: Closing Purchase Orders
How could Blackbaud observe no usage of the Bulk PO close function in database view when people used it. Doesn't make any sense. Take for example the merging of AP vendors in database view which was initially out of scope for FENXT. Was the same conclusion made there too. There was no usage of it. Blackbaud certainly underestimated their customer's desire in retaining this functionality in web view. The response in the idea bank on this has been overwhelming to say the least. It makes you wonder who is making these decisions on what is out of scope for the TWS on certain features. I hope it is not for convenience-sake from a business decision point of view as opposed to a customer point of view.
