Re: Share: Where will you be traveling in from or watching from?
I'll be leaving from Southeastern Vermont - driving to Southwestern Vermont to ride down with @Dan Snyder. Super excited for the everything about the travel this year!
Re: Share: What sessions are you most excited about and why?
There are a ton of great sessions this year - and when I make my schedule, I always make sure to start with any of Bill Connor's sessions! As a Director of Technology, I'm also looking forward to the AI conversations as well.
Re: Share: What sessions are you most excited about and why?
@Topher Lovell I hope you will come to watch @Hallie Guiseppe and my presentation on The AI-Powered Database Manager: Practical & Ethical Applications - and part take in the discussion afterward.
@Lauren Henderson and @Sara Niemiec One of the things I'm excited for our presentation is that I can't wait to see what you do next! I've learned so much from both of you in our preparation.
@Angel Lawrence I'm hoping to get to see your presentation.
Some of the ones I was most looking forward too are scheduled opposite of the ones I'm doing. Fingers crossed I can make it to the Ask a Super User right after I support @Dan Snyder in There’s an Add-In For That! Customize your Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT.
I'm super excited to see what is happening in the innovation center on Tuesday night - I did this last year and had a blast but didn't get to see what the others were doing.
Re: Custom Learning Profiles
In my experience with nonprofit training, the key is designing a clear structure before layering technology.Start by mapping the volunteer journey from onboarding to advanced roles, then create short repeatable modules with clear outcomes.Include practical case studies and reflection tasks, not just theory.Assign mentors to reinforce learning and schedule regular feedback loops.Once this foundation is consistent, you can choose tools that support modular design, track completion, and allow scaling without overwhelming volunteers.
Re: How long should it take for a response if I sent an email to conference@blackbaud.com?
OK I may have found my own problem - In doing the Bingo I finally came across a log in link - vs register (or this was just fixed - maybe)
Perhaps if that was more prominently placed it might save some of us :)
Re: Fundraiser Performance tile on home page is inaccurate
This tile is pulling based on the data on the gift vs. who is assigned to the constituent. This page may be helpful in understanding it and trying to analyze what is being counted.
To test this - I used the instructions on that page to view gifts from constituents assigned to a particular solicitor and I could see that there were gifts from her people but the gifts were not credited to her. Upon updating one of those gifts in database view to give her the credit, the amount on the tile changed.
Please note that there is a delay in updating the gift in DBV and seeing that reflected in the Unified View.
Re: The Beating Heart of Innovation: Your Guide to the bbcon Expo Hall!
I love spending time in the expo hall - not only to see what vendors are out there, but also to network with other BB users! Excited to see more dedicated expo hall time!
Re: Share: What sessions are you most excited about and why?
"I have some data - now where do I put it"
Looking forward to that session because … well its the one I am doing 😉
Bus also looking forward to breaking up with database view.
Re: 2025 BBCON Session List
That's a really interesting idea! I'd also suggest tuning in for Prenger Solutions "BBCON insider guide" webinar on 10/2 (The PSG Insider's Guide to bbcon 2025 - Prenger Solutions Group) I've found it to be a great resource in planning my schedule for BBCON! @Austen Brown @Stacy Cope
