How to change font size in Raiser's Edge Database View

Hi All,

I'm curious. Can anyone offer any suggestions for changing the font size in the Raiser's Edge Database view (Not NXT view). It is entirely too small.

As far as I know, it's not possible to change the font size actually IN Raiser's Edge - you can only change the resolution of your screen.

It's not possible, however it should be available. We have vision impaired employees and they have a hard time reading the font.

It is really small, an accessibility issue, and it should be adjustable like any other program. Unfortunately, it is not. I've tried using the magnifier tool in my computer's accessibility tools, but that is clunky. It can help a little if you change the resolution on your screen.

You can't, but I very much appreciate the question and responses.  My vision isn't great, and I really have trouble reading the print at times.

The solution we use to "zoom" the Windows environment, not edit anything in RE7 or Citrix.


On Windows 10: Settings > Display > Make everything bigger.


Yeah, not perfect, but it is effective. It might be possible to further tweak what is or isn't enlarged, but that would be a conversation for you to have with your IT support.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. I also have difficulty with the font size especially in the database version and reading reports. One example is that I can't use the Green Button feature to upload sent emails if I have the system font set at a larger size. I have to bring the system font back to 100% then upload my sent emails.

@Michelle Schnabel the only place I know of within database view where you can increase the font is in the query results screen. Once you click on the Results tab, the Format menu becomes active and you can change the font.

But yeah, it's kind of wild that we spend so much time struggling with this Windows 95-esque interface.
