CORE Medical and/or Magnus Health

We've been using Magnus Health (MH) for about 18 months and the ON Product (CORE) for about 6 months. How's using the CORE's Medical going? Any major problems? Has anyone moved from MH to using Medical? Trying to decide to implement the interface from CORE to MH or just use CORE Medical. Please share any advice or your experiences. Thank you!

We are considering Magnus but are currently using the Nurse Office in Education Management to see if we really need to switch.  So far it is working well but I know Magnus has some great functions.  I am waiting for Magnus to have 2 way integration.

We use Magnus for our medical and our nurse really likes it.  The biggest benefit is that parents can upload all their signed physical forms themselves.  Not sure if this is a feature in Core or not.  I was under the impression that it was not possible, so we have not considered the switch to just Core.

We use Magnus currently here at Thayer and it works well overall. We've had some glitches but nothing catastrophic. 


At my last institution, we used Core medical. Overall, it worked well but we ran into a lot of issues each year with the medical form. Now, that last school was for students with learning differences and there tended to be a wide variety of conditions, medications, etc. The error we kept encountering on a yearly basis with the form was never fully resolved. At one point support mentioned it could be that parents were not adding conditions/medications in chronological order. I'm not sure if they have resolved it at this point since I'm no longer there but wanted to share my experience with you.
